Mia Cohen, MD

Welcome to My Practice

Dr. Mia Cohen is a board certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist in Westchester, New York. She specializes in the treatment of patients with anxiety, depression, tics, OCD, ADHD, selective mutism, and autism. She has a passion working with patients and families with issues impacting their social, family, and academic lives to help them reach their full potential.


Her office is located at Chappaqua Crossing in Chappaqua, NY, serving patients from Westchester County and surrounding areas.  She collaborates with other therapists, providers, and schools to ensure the best possible treatment.

Driving Directions

Enter the main Chappaqua Crossing Campus at 480 Bedford Road.  

Drive straight back past the Starbucks. 

The office is in the shorter part of the red brick building (the former Reader’s Digest Building). 

Look for the Free Valet parking sign, or park on your own near that lot. 

Entrance is labeled Building B, under the blue awning. 

Pass the security office.  Proceed straight down the hall towards a large wall clock.  Take the stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor. 

Follow the signs to Westchester Business Center.

Check in with the receptionist.

Training

Dr. Mia Cohen was born and raised in Wisconsin.  She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with honors and distinction with a B.A. in Psychology and Zoology. There she was selected for the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Dr Cohen continued her medical education at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She completed her residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center where she was selected as Chief Resident. Dr. Cohen completed her fellowship at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital’s combined program of Columbia and Cornell Universities where she was selected as Chief Resident of the Columbia Campus.

Career

Dr. Mia Cohen is currently voluntary faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College as Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry where she trains and supervises child and adolescent residents.  She was honored to receive the 2017 Westchester Campus Teacher of the Year Award granted by the child and adolescent psychiatry residents.
